The witch I’m upgrading started out pretty good to begin with, but our theme this year is a haunted farm where the coven of witches summons a spider plague. So she’s our main witch doing the conjuring.

I wanted to give her a few more spider-themed details so I bought some fake fingernails for her…

Her eyes and teeth were also a bit too white for my taste so I ordered some acrylic paint pens and set about giving them some color…

The eyes also had a bright green light and by painting her pupils black it diffused it perfectly to a green glow.

The teeth look much more witchy now…

Finally, I added a spider themed hat for her that I found at a thrift store a few years ago.

Next I’ll set about making a spider web spell for the book or cauldron so it looks like she’s in the process of bringing the spiders out of something as an added effect.

So that should be fun. Next I have a couple more details to add to the Cemetery Bride.
