We are making a new version of the chicken wire ghost I made a few years ago. This year instead of chicken wire, which is bulky and hard to store, we’re just using cheesecloth, bird netting, starch and some black trash bags.

Oh, and a styrofoam head. Definitely leaving that in for her face this year.

I’m not sure how the oscillating light will look but I think it will look just as good if not better than her predecessor. I may end up spraying the black cheesecloth with a glittery hairspray to help it catch the light but we’ll see.

As we get closer to Halloween, we’ll break out the lighting and fine tune all these effects and props we’re building. That’s when the fun really begins!! 🙌👻🎃🦇
